Work With VIMOS
Multidisciplinary Approach
Bringing Referral-Level Insight to First-Opinion Practice
At VIMOS, we believe that imaging is only one piece of the clinical puzzle. As veterinary radiologists, our role is to interpret what we see but not to replace the medical, surgical or oncological decision-making that follows.
That’s why we’ve built a trusted network of multidisciplinary specialists, so your patients can benefit from the collective insight of experienced clinicians across internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, and surgery, without ever leaving your practice.
How it works
Before we Scan
If you have a complex case and believe a specialist’s opinion may be beneficial from the outset, we encourage you to send us the full clinical history and any supporting diagnostics. Together with our imaging team, we can advise whether the case would benefit from further input—and connect you directly with the appropriate specialist.
AFTER THE REPORT
In many cases, our radiological findings (from ultrasound, radiographs or CT) may reveal the need for further guidance.
When that happens, and we believe the patient could benefit from medical, oncological, surgical or cardiological input, we will, with your permission, share the case, clinical history and imaging findings with the relevant member of our extended clinical team.
Specialist Support We Offer
Our medical specialists are available to review full cases and provide detailed advice on:
- Treatment protocols
- Further diagnostic workups
- Disease monitoring and progression
- Supportive care
In oncology cases, our consultants can assist with:
- Diagnosis confirmation and staging
- Treatment planning and chemotherapy protocols with guidance for in-practice administration (particularly when no complex equipment is required)
- Ongoing case support and outcome follow-up
There is no need for separate invoicing, we will charge the practice directly, ensuring a seamless service for both vet and client.
Additionally, WeYouVets offers in-house, face-to-face consultations involving pet owners, as well as advanced procedures, such as endoscopy, carried out on-site.

Our cardiology specialist, Andrew Francis, provides advanced case support and in-practice consultations for patients with suspected or confirmed cardiac disease.
Andrew can assist with:
- Full cardiac work-ups and diagnostic interpretation
- Management of acquired and congenital heart disease
- Tailored treatment plans for heart failure and arrhythmias
- Guidance on cardiac manifestations of systemic conditions
- Feline cardiology and case-specific considerations
Andrew works alongside the VIMOS team to review imaging when cardiac disease is suspected, and can attend your clinic for direct assessment when needed. Andrew will invoice the practice directly for his services. We will coordinate everything for you, ensuring seamless care and collaborative case management across disciplines.

When surgical expertise is needed, we work in partnership with Alison Moores, an experienced referral surgeon and founder of Moores Soft Tissue. Alison offers soft tissue surgeries, performed within your practice whenever suitable.
She can support your cases by:
- Assessing suitability for surgery
- Providing preoperative planning and guidance
- Performing surgeries on-site
- Advising on postoperative care and case follow-up
As with cardiology cases, Alison operates independently and will invoice your practice directly. We will coordinate with her as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for your team and your clients.
