Teleradiology

Specialist Reports for every image

At VIMOS, we believe every diagnostic image deserves a specialist’s eye. Whether it’s a radiograph, a CT scan, or an MRI, accurate interpretation is essential to unlock the full diagnostic value of the study and ultimately to guide the best treatment for the patient.

Our teleradiology service connects your practice to Board Certified veterinary radiologists, offering timely clinically relevant reports.

Teleradiology Services

Computed Tomography (CT) is now widely used in both referral and general practice, and with good reason. It provides exceptional detail for bone, lung, vessels, and complex anatomy especially when combined with contrast.

We provide specialist interpretation of CT studies for:

  • Oncology: tumour staging, metastasis checks, surgical planning
  • Congenital vascular anomalies, including portosystemic shunts
  • Spinal and orthopaedic conditions, including disc disease, malformations, fractures
  • Thoracic and pulmonary lesions

  • Dentistry and skull pathology

You’ll receive:

  • A clear, structured report written by a trained radiologist
  • Key image annotations
  • Clinical guidance tailored to your patient’s history and presentation

Magnetic Resonance Imaging is the most advanced modality for soft tissues and the central nervous system. It excels in cases involving:

  • Brain and spinal cord (seizures, paresis, disc extrusions, encephalitis, tumours)
  • Peripheral nerves and musculature (neuropathies, myopathies, shoulder injuries)
  • Other head structures such as complex nasal, retrobulbar or ear cases.

VIMOS offers neurology-focused MRI interpretation with clear anatomical localisation, differential lists, and appropriate next-step suggestions (CSF tap, surgical referral, further imaging, etc.).

Radiography remains the most frequently used imaging tool in veterinary practice and for good reason. It’s quick, accessible, and often the first step in evaluating a wide variety of conditions. But interpreting radiographs well requires experience, anatomical knowledge, and clinical context.

At VIMOS, we offer:

  • Thoracic radiograph interpretation: for cough, dyspnoea, metastasis screening, cardiac silhouette assessment
  • Abdominal radiographs: assessing organ size, displacement, mineralisation, gastrointestinal obstruction, urolithiasis
  • Musculoskeletal radiographs: lameness investigation, fractures, degenerative joint disease, growth plate abnormalities
  • Dental and skull films, including bullae, nasal cavity, and jaw pathology
  • Contrast studies (GI studies, urethrograms, myelograms)

Our reports are more than just image descriptions: they are diagnostic interpretations, with clear differentials and recommendations to help you move forward with confidence.

We also provide:

  • Routine reporting (within 24- 72 hours)
  • Urgent reporting on request

Support for case follow-up or discussion, especially when multiple imaging modalities are involved
